Mazzel tov! - Half day programme

A 2 1/2 hour walk gives you an introduction to the Jewish community in Antwerp. Your guide welcomes you in the entrance hall of the railway station and leads you through the Jewish and the Diamond quarters. We talk about religion and its impact on daily life. We will discuss what it means to be Jewish or to be Belgian. The emphasis is on what unites people rather than on what is dividing them. In one of the synagogues your Jewish host will tell you more about his religion. You will have the opportunity to ask questions.

You can end the tour with a genuine kosher lunch or dinner. We will gladly advise you accordingly.
