No other part of Antwerp is changing as fast as Eilandje . The old port area is rapidly being transformed into residential, office and recreational areas. This walk takes us to the Cadix district and the many new projects that have only recently been completed or are still under construction. Eventually 4,000 people will be living in this district.

Work on the Cadix Square, the future heart of this neighbourhood, has already begun. We walk from the Nassau bridge which is the oldest bridge in the Port of Antwerp, to Zaha Hadid's Port House, an architectural work of ingenuity and art.
